Re: Snow Emergency
To Whom It May Concern:
Morrow County Ohio was hit with a severe winter storm on Friday March 7, 2008. The weather continued to deteriorate thorough out Friday night and Saturday morning March 8, 2008. As a result of the heavy snow fall and high winds, roadways in Morrow County became impassable. For the safety of the citizens of Morrow County and to protect the emergency services personnel that had to be out, the following snow emergency levels were declared by Morrow County Sheriff Steve Brenneman.
Level One – Friday March 7, 2008 at 4:00 PM – Level One means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy. Drive very cautiously!
Level Two – Friday March 7, 2008 at 10:27 pm – Level Two means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.
Level Three – Saturday March 8, 2008 at 7:42 AM - Level Three means all roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roadways may subject themselves to arrest.
