Judges of the Court of Common Pleas, Probate Court Judges, Prosecuting Attorney, Jail Staff and the people ordered by the Courts shall have free access to the jail and prisoners at all times. Prisoners may visit with their attorney, parole, probation officer or clergyman at any reasonable time except between the hours of 9:00pm to 7:30am. All other visits must be scheduled and approved by the Sheriff, Jail Administrator or his assistants. Inmates at the Morrow County Correctional Facility are allowed 60 minutes of visitation per week, unless circumstances dictate a temporary suspension of visitation. This must be taken in 30 minute increments. Visitation will be by appointment only. Special visits (confirmed death in family, serious injury or similar incident) must be approved by the Sheriff, Jail Administrator or his assistant twenty-four (24) hours prior to the intended visit. Visitors may call on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00-7:00 to schedule visitation. VISITATION RULES A visitor under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted visitation with any inmate. Visitors must show a photo identification card upon request. Visitors under the age of 18 will not be permitted to visit unless accompanied to the visiting room by a parent or legal guardian. (A spouse of prisoner who is under the age of 18 may visit if they can show proof of the marriage.) A minor child shall be permitted to visit if that inmate is the parent or legal guardian of that child. Visitors caught transporting contraband into the facility will be arrested and charged. Visitors are expected to wear appropriate attire. The visitation
officer has the right to deny visits for inappropriate attire.
No property, mail or money orders are accepted at the window. All of these items must be mailed to the inmate at the below address.
